Char cloth - evidently cotton is not cotton
Making and testing char cloth from an old pair of 100% cotton cargo pants. That material doesn't seem to work? It became hard and crusty when charred. I even tried two batches, same results. Second batch for sure was not over cooked as there were still some pieces in the second batch that had not complety charred. Wonder why, even though the material is 100% cotton, it will not work for char cloth?
